5 Tips for De-Stressing Your Career
Survey Finds Top Job Stressors and Tips for Coping More than 80 percent of working women are stressed out as a result of work related issues according to a new survey released by CareerWomen.com today. Women that responded to the poll revealed that most of their stress was a result of ineffective co-workers, too many unproductive meetings and difficult client or office situations.
“Stress has a debilitating effect on productivity,” said JillXan Donnelly, president of CareerWomen.com. “With reduced staffs, higher expectations and slim margins, we are finding increased burnout According to one respondent, “The economic downturn required us to cut staff so we all had to pick up the slack. I’m doing the job of two to three people, which means more travel, more clients, more meetings – you get the picture.
